Abstract
At the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century in European literature, a school called Romanticism emerged, which was opposed to Classicism. This school was a reaction against the influence of classicism that emphasized reason and logic. The intellectual basis of this movement is to pay attention to the ugliness and beauty of human nature. The most important themes of this school are: return to nature, freedom, opposition to wisdom, escape and travel, discovery and intuition. One of the best examples of southern Kurdish poetry and literature that contains elements of romanticism is Heshmat Mansouri's Masnavi "Dilbar". Heshmat Mansouri is one of the Kurdish poets of Ilam. This research analyzed Delbar's Masnavi by descriptive-analytical method and showed the most important concepts of romanticism in it. The results of the research show that Mansouri was of the opinion that through the heart and intuition, it is better to help transfer concepts. Also, escape and travel, discovery and intuition with a proportion of imagination and sensory similes are among the things that have given a romantic quality to Delbar's Masnavi.
