The present study aims to investigate the influence of favoritism on job performance given the role of mediating role of organizational trust. Considering the purpose, the research method is applied and in terms of nature it is descriptive - correlation based on the Structural Equation Modelling. The statistical population is all the staff of the central headquarters of the Ilam Medical Sciences University in the number of 300, which have been chosen as the sample using the Cochran formula; however, it was used to benefit from the use of structural equations and LISREL software, and to benefit from this method, at least the sample had to be 200. Therefore, for assessing the participative variable, Abdullah et al. (1998), the job performance of Paterson et al. (1992) and the organizational trust of Shafi'i (2011) have been used. Favoritism is one of the most important problems in Iran's administrative system, which negatively affects the productivity of organizations.
