Abstract

As a cultural element, the clothes contain different codes and messages arisen from tribal and national customs, traditions and origins. They express themselves through a symbolic language. In modern times, although cultural diffusion and social interactions have been observed in human societies, clothing has been one of the prominent features and discriminations of the human tribes and nations. The current research uses an in-depth method including the library sources and documents, presence in research field, direct observation with participation and interview. It also utilizes three approaches including functionalism, diffusionism and symbolism in order to explain research data. According to the investigations, it could be concluded that with passage of time and technological progress, the development of media and communicational tools have been associated with changes in clothing profession and jobs with most of the human focus concentrated on clothing fitness and beauty.
