This study investigates the influence of the location of the park using sustainable urban development approach took to fill leisure time of Eivan residents. In this study the researchers are looking for the answer of the following questions:
1. Is the location of the park with a filling leisure time of citizens involved in sustainable urban development?
2. Is the establishment of a coordinated approach to sustainable development important in attracting people to the park?
3. By using an approach to sustainable urban development, can one establish an interaction between the environment and humans?
The statistical society was the total population of inhabitants of Eivan city (27,883 people) in 1393 from which 150 subjects were randomly selected and a researcher-made questionnaire entitled location of park was provided for them. The data were analyzed by spss software.
The findings show that location of the park to sustainable urban development approach is effective in citizens' filling leisure time. Establishing a coordinated approach to sustainable development is important in attracting people to the park, using an approach to sustainable urban development can establish an interaction between the environment and human beings. Finally, a location for a new park using sustainable urban development approach was proposed.
